How units work

Weights convert to each other (g, kg, oz, lb) and volumes convert to each other (ml, l, tsp, tbsp, cup, fl oz). Use "each" for things you count, like eggs or onions. A weight cannot be turned into a volume without knowing the food, so if the package is in pounds and the recipe says cups, weigh it once or use the package's serving info. US cups are used (1 cup = 237 ml).
