See it across every shift

One good shift does not tell you much. The Gig Driver Tracker (Excel and Google Sheets) logs every shift and app, shows your real hourly per app and per weekday, your mileage deduction and a self-employment tax estimate for the year.

How it is worked out

Gas = miles / MPG x gas price. Car wear is what each mile costs you beyond gas; $0.15 to $0.30 is typical for a small used car. Mileage deduction uses the IRS standard rate ($0.725 per business mile for 2026; check each January). The tax set-aside is your % of (pay minus the mileage deduction). Self-employment tax alone is about 14.1% of that. This is a planning helper, not tax advice.
